I tire of pundits rambling on about the politics of the day. The Trump/Carney meeting was a side show. It changed nothing. It’s like a reality TV show, mildly entertaining.
Ray Dalio on the other hand offers a different way of viewing today’s world. As Deep Throat famously told Bob Woodward in “All The Presidents Men”, the movie about Nixon’s demise, “follow the money”.
That is still true today. Dalio knows a thing or two about money and how it shapes the world. He’s a billionaire. I don’t hold it against him.
